Since I started Maison Paon, I've seen too many beautiful boutiques close their doors. Not because their founders lacked ideas, courage, or desire, but because they simply lacked… air.

Today, I understand, we don't always have the luxury of choosing what we consume. Our finances often decide for us. And that's what breaks my heart: seeing passionate creators, French brands, artisans, disappear because Temu and Amazon impose impossible prices on you, our valuable customers.

🌿 Still believing in "less but better"

Despite everything, I continue to believe in one model: buy less, but buy better.
A useful, beautiful, practical, and durable item is not a whim. It's an investment in our daily lives, in our comfort, in our pleasure.

That's what I want to promote with Maison Paon. A custom notebook, for example, isn't just a notebook: it's a companion that follows you, adapts to your life, and helps you move forward. And that has infinitely more value than a disposable product.

💪 Adapting without giving up

Let's be honest: Maison Paon is also weathering its storms. I had to close the Tours boutique. I had to take seasonal jobs on the side to continue living. But I'm not giving up.

• Launching an online custom notebook configurator (not perfect yet, but I promise, it's coming).

• Offering bold collections like Quartier Libre, designed to free up your daily life.

• Championing French alternatives that are beautiful and accessible.

Because the future is not set in stone. Because we can create differently.

I deeply believe that we all have a role to play in maintaining a thriving France. You don't need to be a multinational to contribute. Buying an artisan candle, a notebook, an illustrated card, is already participating.
